It's that time of year that we write reports so the blog has fallen by the wayside a little as i spend my free time marking those final pieces and writing up reports. My Yr 9 students have been creating a poster that either advertises The Hunger Games or shows their own created arena and these are coming along very well and looking great. Yr 8 english students have started writing a longer persuasive exposition piece about Tomorrow when the war began based on some themes we looked at earlier in the year. Unfortunately we werent able to finish reading the book so we will be using the film as a guide for their responses.
Yr 10 geography are still completing their survey posters and Yr 10 history are finding out about their ideal destinations climate. This is proving a little challenging as our laptop internet was incredibly slow yesterday - and today our school internet has died completely - so it shall be an interesting day of 'old school' teaching!
This blog is a record of the day to day classroom activities for teachers, parents and students. This is also a bit of a personal record for myself on how things are going and what each class is working on.
