Today we had Geoff Goodfellow speak to our senior students so all my classes were moved to the library. We took advantage of the situation to do some group noting skills with the yr 10 history class looking at the Eastern and Western front of WW1 and will share our results and come up with a common 20 points in our next lesson. The yr 9 hass class then did a wonderful job of setting up the library for the visiting poet and then continued watching Gallipoli. After lunch we continued to watch Gallipoli with the yr 9 english class after thanking them with an icecream for their work setting up the furniture. Then my year 8 class chose a novel to read and will write a short blog review next week.
It's been a rather awful muggy day so i'm glad it finally the weekend :)
This blog is a record of the day to day classroom activities for teachers, parents and students. This is also a bit of a personal record for myself on how things are going and what each class is working on.
