Last week we finished off our Anzac projects so today it was back to our program. My yr 9 english and history class have had a slight reshuffle and we will be trying an new schedule in which we spend one week on english then the following week on history. We've had quite a few disruptions this term and i'm hoping this will help to focus students attention on their tasks and provide stronger continuity with the topics. If it works well we will extend it into next term with perhaps 2 or 3 week blocks of either subject. Today we started creating a 'fakebook' page for one of the characters of the Hunger Games and then in the afternoon started watching the sequel "Catching Fire"
My yr 8 english class got back into reading our novel "Tomorrow when the war began" and we will be focussing on reading as much of the novel as we can in this week.
Yr 10 Geography are still working on their piktocharts of statistics of World War one as we had a few technical issues last week. The are progressing well though and will be hopefully completed by the end of the week.
This blog is a record of the day to day classroom activities for teachers, parents and students. This is also a bit of a personal record for myself on how things are going and what each class is working on.
