Today started with a quick talk to the yr 10 students about some volunteering opportunities with fundraising for legacy and helping with the set up of the display for Anzac day of student work. The yr 9 hass class swapped their lessons around today so that we could spend our long lesson reading more of the novel and we are now up to chapter 6.
The Yr 10 goegraphy class continued their work on the Gapminder graph and it has been interesting to see their work on the graph and the growth of individual countries. Iceland has a particulary interesting flow of life expectancy that even our research found hard to decipher ! Students will need to finsih the questions on this graph for homework and hand up on Friday.
The year 10 History class continued to watch War Horse...
My 'free' lesson will be spent reorganising and clearing out my classroom a little as its starting to look a little like and episode of "Hoarders" !!
This blog is a record of the day to day classroom activities for teachers, parents and students. This is also a bit of a personal record for myself on how things are going and what each class is working on.
